Prior to this the short was available via a home release, and you could rent out 16mm prints of it in some places. Thus, it was not lost media, but it has never been available online in its entirety until now, aside from a few clips here and there. We are proud to present it for the first time in its unabridged entirety with one of the best prints of it ever made. This 16mm Kodachrome is print #1, in pristine condition aside from dirt and dust, and supposedly came from the estate of Preston M. Fleet, producer and founder of the Fotomat. The reel has full frame footage of the production team throughout every step of the process, from ideation, to drawing, to painting, to dubbing, etc. as well as several scenes of Shinbone Alley itself. It is truly a marvel that showcases every single aspect of the very intensive traditional animation process in its entire scope from beginning to end of production, in a very informative and entertaining manner. The print was obtained by us and scanned in 4K resolution. Aside from cropping and encoding for YouTube, no processing or color work was done to the film, so what you see is its natural state right off the scanner. It has a good amount of dirt and dust, but nothing too major. Enjoy! For more info on film scans and remasters, please visit our Twitter:   / kinekovideo
