The 2018 Fit lineup, which in addition to design updates, gained new features to increase the model's competitiveness. One of the highlights is that the model now comes standard with VSA electronic stability control. Another change was the inclusion of a new generation of electric power steering, more advanced, which improves steering feel and comfort. Visually, the Fit received changes to the front bumper and grille, as well as the rear bumper, which was extended 8 cm to increase trunk lid protection in low-speed collisions. The taillights are also LED on all trim levels. Regarding other equipment, the main new features are concentrated in the top-of-the-line EX and EXL trim levels. The EXL, for example, received LED headlights, both low and high beam, a first for this model. Another new feature is the multimedia center with integrated GPS and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, although this is also limited to the EXL trim level.
