The Draka : An American Dystopia

The Draka books present twin dystopian visions deeply rooted in American history and culture. This isn't a lore video, but a look at that literary dystopian aspect. The Draka themselves are a projection of our agricultural, slaveholding past while the Alliance for Democracy is an exaggerated portrait of post-WWII America complete with a sprawling military-industrial complex and a Machiavellian deep state. Together they reflect some of the worst aspects of what we've been and what we've become. Yes, there's some awful AI graphics. I'm doing my part to create original Draka art but it's never quite enough for b-roll. Some slop patched the holes on this one. This video was mostly shot back in October of ’23.
