According to reports, an ABTC bus employee allegedly stopped a Punjab Roadways bus and attacked the conductor with an iron rod, leaving him seriously injured. The injured Punjab Roadways conductor was rushed to the hospital for treatment. Passengers traveling on the bus claimed that the fight was initiated by the ABTC staff and described the incident as open hooliganism that put innocent travelers at risk. Following the incident, officials and union representatives from Punjab Roadways Depot Tarn Taran reached the police station and demanded strict action against the accused. They stated that such incidents should not be tolerated and demanded justice for the injured conductor. On the other hand, ABTC bus staff denied the allegations and claimed that Punjab Roadways buses frequently pick up passengers during their scheduled timing, causing disputes. They also alleged that Roadways employees behave improperly when confronted. Police have registered complaints from both sides and launched an investigation into the matter.
