"The Robinson from Vlašić" has so many occupations and abilities that he can compete for the Guinness Book of Records. However, fruit growing is one of his favorite jobs. So far, he says, he has grated thousands of wild apples, pears, cherries in the woods, and he preserves the apples so well in the stone cellar that we tasted them a few days ago. They are so juicy and high quality that it is a real rarity. Ramiz's family of six, eats a hundred kilograms of home-grown apples a month. These are usually indigenous Bosnian varieties that are not treated with any chemicals. We also visited Robinson’s ponds.
