Waterton Canyon Fly Fishing

Spent a morning up Waterton Canyon, tail water of Strontia springs and the confluence of the North and South Platte in Colorado. Nymph rig: Pats rubber legs, epoxy red worm, olive and green zebra midge Dry fly rig: Small yellow chubby chernobyl, small olive loop wing emerger *Caught the large brown off the loop wing olive emerger. Weekends at Waterton are crowded during the summer. I prefer fishing early or late on the weekends, or trying to get out during the week.
