It turned out that the threads in the green or red (depending on your poles) clamping element inside were damaged. I was faced with a dilemma: either buy a new one or try to repair it. Incidentally, I couldn't find such a part on AliExpress. Apparently, they just don't sell it. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any tips on repairing a Nordic pole on YouTube. More accurately, I found options for either completely replacing the clamping element or drilling the pole and screwing in a bolt or screw, which would then cause a loss of shock-absorbing properties. Since I needed to fix my mountain pole quickly, I came up with the first repair option—rubber O-rings. And I had great success with this solution in the Crimean mountains. The only inconvenience was that I had to constantly adjust the pole's height. For my second trip to the mountains, I decided to thoroughly repair my telescopic pole and came up with the best solution: completely replacing the threads using improvised means. You can see how to do this in the video. The repair turned out to be quite successful. And on my last mountain hike, my repairs worked perfectly. The pole held up. This means that if your Nordic pole breaks, you don't have to throw it away or buy a new one! You can save money and fix it yourself.
