How To Crochet A Double Border aka Envelope Border - Kari's Crafts

Crochet tutorial - How to crochet a double border aka envelope border starting with front post stitches. This border is used most often on overlay mosaic crochet projects, but can be used on any project where you have a lot of yarn ends. This creates a clean, finished look but eliminates the need to sew in all of the yarn ends because it encases the ends between the two layers. Also by starting with front post stitches this eliminates the step of crocheting a round of slip stitches before crocheting the border. I'm using a solid color border in this tutorial just to keep it simple and demonstrate the method, but you can also create a border with a mosaic pattern if you prefer.
