We started our journey by picking up my sister, enjoyed a delicious dosa on the way, and bought sweets and fruits for home. The next morning, I fed the village birds, enjoyed Idli Guguni for breakfast, and attended my beloved grandmother’s first death anniversary (Barshikia) puja. Later, I met my newly married best friend, visited our village school garden, enjoyed fresh jamun, explored a peaceful mud house, received lots of love from an elderly village woman, spent some relaxing moments near our beautiful pond, and watched my brother catch fish from our family pond. Sometimes, leaving the busy city behind and spending time in the village brings a different kind of peace. I hope you enjoy these simple and heartwarming moments with me.
