Welcome to Nepal, a beautiful country of peace and tolerance. In today’s episode, we will take you on a hike to Samjur, in the Tanahun District of Nepal. Samjur Muslim village is the oldest Muslim village in Hilly Nepal. Although it is located nearby my husband’s village (2 hours’ hike), Krishna never visited before. As my father’s family is Muslim, it was very interesting for me to visit this village. The imam and all the community were so kind and welcoming. I can’t wait to visit again and learn more. I love how hindus, buddhists and muslims are living peacefully in Nepal. Nepal is such a great country of peace and tolerance. I believe it should serve as an example for the world.
