Ukrainian civil society is going through the hardest winter in its history, suffering under constant rocket attacks and long-term electricity blackouts, while defending European values: a right for self-identification and free will. The young and thriving Ukrainian electronic music scene has been shaping the resistance against russian aggression and oppression for 9 years, and has deserved a solidarity action in the darkest hour. That’s why, leading electronic music acts and platforms have united in a charity Livestream event to supply Ukrainian hospitals with electricity in support of Power Life in Ukraine campaign launched by president Zelenskyy’s fundraising platform, UNITED24, German NGO Vitsche Berlin, and Ukr.Dim. Together with Marcel Dettmann, Âme, Cinthie, Cormac, Cromby, Alinka, and DJ Mell G we went live from the rooftop of the legendary building of Vivantes Hospital am Urban in the heart of Kreuzberg, Berlin to raise funds and awareness about this urgent cause.
