Kyiv Ukraine: I love this city! | Vareniki & Pierogi @ Puzata Hata | Crimean Food @ Musafir | Kiev

Traveling with my fun momma, we arrived to Kiev (Kyiv) Ukraine on the same day as Imagine Dragons were having a concert at the sports arena. Budget hotels were so full, so we spent the night at the more pricey Park Inn Hotel. We had a great stay, and enjoyed the comfy beds and the great city views. The next day we we checked out and moved to an awesome large 1 bedroom apartment in the center of Kiev. We walked the main shopping street of Khreshchatyk, with tons of food and shopping. Then off a side street we were lucky enough to find the Musafir restaurant, famous for homemade Crimean food. The staff were incredible, and the food was great value. Most plates were around $3 usd. We also appreciated the kind Park Inn Reception who recommended to try the locals favorite cafeteria food spot called Puzata Hata. We ate vareniki, pierogi, blintzes, dill soup, lentil and soup. Two if us got full for 250 Ukraine hryvnia -- less than $9 usd! We were actually close to full at $6, but we went back for seconds to try more! We were stuffed. At night time we hung out at the Milk Bar, and then explored the local nightlife.
