The next in the series of interviews in the 1950s memory chronicle was with Tofig Bakikhanov. T. Bakikhanov took violin lessons from Simberov and composition lessons from Garayev. He is the author of three ballets ("Khazar Ballad", "Oriental Poem" and "Good and Evil") and many symphonies, musical comedies and romances. In addition, he, together with Vagif Mustafayev, contributed to the creation of jazz.
