What does a trainee solicitor in real estate do? ...and an HONEST seat review

Hi everyone! In this video I explain exactly what I have been doing as a trainee solicitor for the last six months in the commercial property and development / real estate seat of my training contract. I had very little experience working in a law firm prior to starting my training contract so whilst I had a vague idea of the types of work I would be carrying out, I still couldn't envision what I would actually be doing during my training contract seat in real estate. As I approach the end of my first seat in real estate, I thought it might be helpful to others if I explain exactly what tasks I have been doing whilst in this seat. I would have loved a video like this before I started my TC so that I could develop a better understanding of the work that I would be getting involved with, so I hope you find this video useful! At the end of the video I also reveal what my next seat is! I am really excited to be trying a new area of law but I'm also sad to be leaving the colleagues that I have befriended over the past six months. Starting over again from scratch is going to be tough but I am ready for the challenge.
