In part 1 we checked the front diff solenoids and actuator. Assuming these are good, we move on to checking the vacuum lines for the super select 2 4x4 system. If these are good we move onto checking the resistance on the transfer case switches and finally the transfer case actuator. This troubleshooting encompasses 99% of the common problems that 4x4's experience with the Mitsubishi Super select 2 system.
