A cocktail as Rock n Roll as its name suggests. Described by its creator, Joaquin Simo of Death & Co in New York, as ‘the bastard love child of a classic Last Word and Sam Ross’s Paper Plane, conceived in the mountains of Oaxaca’, the Naked & Famous has become a modern classic in its own right thanks to its easy formula combining unusual ingredients to make an intriguing but amazingly fresh cocktail. Using Aperol in cocktails is a good way to lure people in to the world of amari, and I also often use this cocktail to introduce people to the wonders of mezcal!
