Next up in our beginning Blues series is lesson 3: 7th Chords - The Voice of the Blues. 7th chords are the very essence of the blues sound and are the foundation for the entire genre. We’ll look at how 7th chords are built, several common shapes and easy fretboard relationships that let you instantly find I, IV, V progressions in any key.
