Gumotex Safari: On the Birs, Hole in the Boat
The Birs is one of those rivers that doesn’t get paddled very often. The reason: too many weirs. Having to portage every few kilometers puts most paddlers off. It doesn’t bother me as much. I’m already 55 years old, and to be honest, I need a little extra exercise to stay in shape. What could be better than hauling the boat and all that gear around a couple of dams? :-) Music Downtown Swagger, by PremiumBeat (envato.com) Energetic, by StockSounds (envato.com)
