Since reuniting in 2007, the band has toured around the world, including performances at New York's Madison Square Garden in 2014 and London's Wembley Arena in 2017. In 2018, they headlined Coachella, one of the world’s largest outdoor music festivals in the U.S., thrilling audiences worldwide. The live documentary film "We Are X" was released in theaters in more than 30 countries and has received critical acclaim, winning awards at the Sundance Film Festival and SXSW. Band members are YOSHIKI (leader, drums, piano), Toshl (vocals), PATA (guitar), SUGIZO (guitar), HIDE (guitar; died 1998), TAIJI (bass; died 2011), and HEATH (bass; died 2023).
