Adding to this is its train station, a key point in the province's rail network. In the culinary sphere, Espeluy is known for its migas, considered among the finest in the province of Jaén, a dish that embodies the essence of its traditional cuisine and continues to win over palates generation after generation. Mayor Sebastián Lijarcio emphasizes that Espeluy's greatest asset is its people, a fundamental driving force for the development and preservation of its traditions. He also highlighted that the municipality is moving steadily toward the future with the creation of an urban development plan to enhance its industrial park, as well as with the construction of sustainable housing, committing to balanced growth adapted to the changing times.
