Our first "Camping with the Girls" was so wonderful that we felt we had to continue it... Didem Balçın, Rojda Demirer, İdil Yürük, and I set off on another adventure. We attached our caravan to our car, prepared our coffees, and began a pleasant three-hour journey. Conversations started right from the beginning; summer tours, new projects, vacation plans, theater, road trip stories – we didn't even realize how time flew by. In this episode, the conversation touched upon those difficult days we spent in Dubai. I recounted in unprecedented detail the days we were stranded in the middle of the war, the anxiety our family experienced, the interesting events that happened to us at the Omani border, and the unforgettable memories we shared with Şevket Çoruh. When we arrived at the campsite, the girls' first reaction perfectly captured our feelings: "We've arrived in paradise!" We set up our caravan, built the camp kitchen, and began dividing the tasks. After the first "Camping with the Girls," the bar was set quite high in the kitchen. İdil was once again one of the most ambitious names in the kitchen, Didem was in charge of the organization as usual, and Rojda was determined to surprise everyone this time. She made her famous guacamole sauce, which she had been preparing with great excitement for days. Of course, laughter was abundant throughout the process. As soon as we settled into the campsite, the kitchen was set up. The dishes we prepared together were tasted and scored one by one at the table set up in the sunlight. There was as much laughter as there was delicious food. As the wind picked up towards sunset, we moved inside the caravan. The Okey table was set up, the competition began, but soon the game turned into another lively conversation filled with laughter. The next morning, we started the day with a lovely camp breakfast. Menemen was once again the star of the table. In fact, I reiterated my usual claim: "I could spend a lifetime with menemen." After breakfast, we also announced the surprise gifts for this episode. My question is quite ambitious: The first 5 people to correctly identify the two secret spices in menemen (a Turkish egg dish) will receive ribs at Rita Deli, and another 5 will receive a Profiterole Burger at Rita Prob. We've started preparations for scuba diving with the Prime Dive Center team. World record-holding diving instructor Mazlum Kibar and his team first gave us comprehensive training. We learned the correct use of the regulator, how to breathe underwater, and which hand gestures to use to communicate with each other since we can't speak. After completing our preparations, we donned our equipment and found ourselves in a completely different world underwater. Some of us were scuba diving for the first time... Some of us were trying to learn breath control... Some of us were watching colorful fish... And some of us were fascinated by the unique silence underwater. One of us even made eye contact with an octopus, another experienced a brief moment of panic, but thanks to Professor Mazlum's calmness and experience, the fear gave way to an unforgettable memory. We discussed our diving experience at length, accompanied by ribs. Was the silence underwater more impressive, or the sound of breathing? Would someone who tried it once want to do it again? Is scuba diving really one of the experiences you absolutely must do in life? We talked about all of this at length. After the dive, we returned to the table. The ribs that weren't ready the previous day were now on the grill.
