Bandai Namco is preparing a major update to reignite interest in the game and provide new content for fans of ultra-spectacular battles. We're also talking about some pretty wild news regarding RAM: thieves have reportedly stolen memory modules directly from esports hotels. And with the current shortage of DRAM, SSDs, and GPU memory, this kind of story shows how some components are becoming almost as coveted as graphics cards, which are currently in short supply. The big business story of the day is Electronic Arts. The European Union has officially approved the acquisition of the publisher by a group of investors including the Saudi sovereign wealth fund PIF. A completely outrageous price, but one that reflects the current trend: high-end gaming is becoming increasingly inaccessible, especially with the memory shortage and Nvidia's price hikes. Xbox is also making headlines with its finances: six studios are reportedly bringing in over $500 million annually. This is significant information because it shows that despite layoffs, the debates surrounding Game Pass, and Microsoft's sometimes unclear strategy, some Xbox studios remain extremely profitable. Bethesda also assures everyone that the layoffs haven't changed the roadmap for The Elder Scrolls VI. A reassuring statement on paper, even if gamers remain cautious after the numerous restructurings at Xbox and ZeniMax.
