THE FAR WESTERN FELLS - GRIKE, CRAG FELL, CAW FELL, HAYCOCK, LANK RIGG - THE LAKE DISTRICT

This route begins with a gradual ascent on a very obvious track through a small forest and up to Grike.. A short decent follows before pulling quickly back up on to Crag Fell with stunning vistas of Ennerdale. The long walk then follows before a final steep ascent onto Caw Fell and Haycock before retracing your steps back towards Lank Rigg to complete the circuit.
