DIY Cheap Simple Modern Concrete Patio Umbrella Base
Here’s a DIY for a simple concrete base for a patio table umbrella. The total cost of this was less than $20 CAD and it uses only simple tools. I used a Sonotube, a 1.5” PVC pipe with a cap and rubber coupler, a bag of cement mix, and some scrap wood, screws, and tape I had laying around. If you wanted a different shape you could build a plywood box and use it as a mold instead of the Sonotube. Let me know in the comments if you have tried working with cement for home DIY projects!
