Joan's guest is actress Fran Drescher. Fran talks about bringing her dog, Chester, to a screen test for a new movie with Robin Williams. Chester got the part, and so did Fran. Fran explains that Chester was chosen because he is obnoxious, which was in the script, and he growled and barked at Robin during the screen test, making it more interesting and funny. Fran also talks about her experience with Robin Williams in a fake motel room where they filmed a scene for the movie. They were both scantly clothed, and Robin had a lot of body hair, which Fran found amusing. Fran also discusses her accent and how it has helped her become specific about her comedic roles.
