Olivier Paccaud : « La transmission du savoir n’est plus au centre de l’école »

Last week, the Court of Auditors published a worrying report on the achievement of primary school students. To address this, it recommended, among other things, a review of school schedules. Olivier Paccaud, Senator (LR) for Oise, reviewed the report's conclusions and expressed profound disagreement with the proposed solutions. According to him, "the real problem is not at all related to school schedules," but rather relates to "problems of violence, the attractiveness of the teaching profession, disrespect, and harassment." He advocates putting "the transmission of knowledge back at the center of school," "which is no longer the case today." He also deplores "the omnipresence of alternative teaching methods" and observes that with these methods, "we are last or second to last everywhere." 🔴 To follow all the latest political and parliamentary news, subscribe to our YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/publicse... 👉 Our website: http://www.publicsenat.fr ▶️ Discover all our replays: https://www.publicsenat.fr/replay 📬 Subscribe to our newsletter: https://bit.ly/NewslettersPublicSenat 🚀 Follow us on social media: Facebook:   / publicsenat   X:   / publicsenat   Instagram:   / publicsenat   LinkedIn:   / 2996809   Bluesky: https://bsky.app/profile/publicsenat.fr Threads: https://www.threads.net/@publicsenat TikTok:   / publicsenat
