Tresca in Boston's North End
Boston is one of the great hockey cities in the country, and I think the North End may be the best Little Italy in America, and if you like Pucks and parmesan, you've got to try Tresca on Hanover Street. Tresca is a five minute walk from the Garden, so it's perfect before or after a Bruins game, a Celtics game or a concert. The first floor has a bar, so it's more lively. The second floor is more intimate and quiet, but the ultimate experience here is definitely Table 77. This overlooks Hanover Street. Only seats two people. It's got to be the greatest table in Boston. It might be the best table on the planet. Ray Bourque is one of the greatest hockey players ever to put on the skates and due to his love of Boston and pasta, or he calls it pasta, he opened Tresca 20 years ago.
