HHO. 19

In this video I find the resonant frequency of the HHO cell be resonating it against an inductor. I have found it imposable to establish the resonant frequency of the test cell when working in a low frequency range of say less than 1 Mhz. And I have had to go up into the Mhz ranges to actually find resonance, theoretically you should be able to find the resonance of a tank circuit (capacitor and coil) at any frequency you like but the reality of the HHO cell is it has very little capacitance and the oscillations are damped by the electrical resistance of the water (I'm using distilled water from my dehumidifier) If you know the value of the inductor and you know the frequency at which the oscillations peak, then you can calculate the effective capacitance of the cell and once you know that then reasonably you can chose another inductance to allow the cell to resonate at the frequency of your own choice, even so, I think the damped 'Q' will still be a problem. Not sure where I'm going next but I'm beginning to think that no one actually hits the cell at resonance, I think they hit the cell with a resonant frequency. That's the same difference as someone saying, 'I'm throwing snowballs at the moon,' whereas what the really mean is 'I'm throwing snowball in the direction of the moon.' Yes it's a play on words and it could leave one trying to achieve the imposable if you wanted to copy what they say they are doing, I think that's what good patent attorneys do for a living. Thanks for the interest. Kind Regards ...
