PrusaSlicer 2.3 lo podemos utilizar en casi todas las impresoras 3d del mercado y es la entrada de gran potencia de Prusa Research en el mercado de las cortadoras 3D . Originalmente basado en Slic3r de Alessandro Ranellucci, en 2016, Prusa se ramificó con su propia versión interna, llamada Slic3r PE (Prusa Edition), que se lanzó a través de GitHub.
