Binyam répond a Okala sur les réelles motifs de sa suspension du MRC
🔴 MRC | Okala Ebode's Suspension — What Binyam Said That No One Is Repeating. A convenient narrative has been circulating for weeks. A courageous man. A founder. A lone legalist who dares to say what others keep silent. Suspended for speaking out. A victim of a party that has become what he opposes. This narrative is incomplete. And incompleteness, in politics, is rarely an accident. Pierre Emmanuel Binyam, an MRC official, responded. Here is what he said — unfiltered by the media outlets that have only invited Okala since his break with the party. The suspension is not due to his positions on Kamto. It stems from disciplinary proceedings initiated by Professor Alain Foguet before the MRC's National Mediation and Arbitration Commission — for acts of contempt and defamation. This commission has ruled. The Directorate voted unanimously to ratify the decision. An important detail: Okala Ebode was himself a former member of this commission. He knows its rules better than anyone. He cannot contest the legitimacy of a procedure of which he himself was a key figure. The letter to the sub-prefect? He takes responsibility for it. "I'm the one who wrote to the sub-prefect. I take responsibility." This letter served as the basis for the order banning the MRC convention in November 2025. Whatever the personal motive, the objective result is clear: a member of the main opposition party provided the state apparatus with administrative ammunition to block his own party. Regarding Kamto's return as the motive for the sanction? Binyam is adamant: "This debate never took place in an official meeting of the National Directorate. Not for a single day." The disciplinary procedure predates and is independent of the controversy surrounding Kamto's return. What this actually reveals. Okala Ebode raises a genuinely fundamental question about the internal democracy of political parties. It deserves to be asked. But there's a difference between raising it internally, through statutory channels, and bringing it directly to the opposing regime's platforms, on the eve of elections that this same regime is trying to sabotage. He himself concedes: "My approach may play into the regime's hands, but unintentionally." Unintentionally. Perhaps. But Kant taught us that intention alone is not enough. Objective consequences matter. Share if you think this debate deserves more than slogans. 📺 Full analysis — Cyrille the Mayor YouTube The MRC is working towards the establishment of the rule of law.
