While the first video focused primarily on the hardware, new features, and differences from its predecessor, this one gets really practical: I'll guide you step-by-step through the entire setup process – from app installation and firmware update to mounting the charging station and mapping your lawn. The new Tri-Fusion navigation system with 360-degree LiDAR, GPS, RTK, and camera is particularly exciting on the Luba 3 AWD. That's precisely why I wanted to find out how well this high-tech concept actually works in everyday use and whether it functions reliably even in more complex garden layouts. I'll demonstrate both automatic and manual mapping via the app and openly discuss what worked well in the test and where there were still some issues. In my case, the automatic mapping wasn't quite perfect yet, which is why I'll also show you the manual setup in detail – which, however, was quick, stable, and absolutely reliable. You'll also see how precisely the robotic lawnmower works along the defined boundaries, how clean the cut is, and how the Luba 3 AWD performs with two separate lawn areas and a transition. Of course, I'll also take a closer look at the edge cutting and obstacle detection, and test how well the mower handles typical garden objects. Another focus is the Mammotion app, where I'll show you important functions such as scheduling mowing times, manual control, live camera access, and features like "Drop & Mow." My conclusion after the test: The Luba 3 AWD delivers a very strong overall performance in the garden, impressing with an extremely even cut and remarkably precise navigation thanks to 360° LiDAR. I currently see minor weaknesses in the automatic mapping as more of a software issue, while manual mapping worked quickly and easily.
