Before moving house, I sorted through some belongings that I won't be able to use in Japan and tried selling them. This stand mixer was a birthday gift I gave my husband because he used to love baking. I never expected it to sell so quickly. Just 10 minutes after posting it, someone contacted me to buy it. At that moment, I suddenly felt a strong sense of attachment and reluctance to let it go. Before sending it off to its new owner, I took the opportunity to make one last batch of homemade pizza. Throughout our lives, there are many people we meet, grow close to, and eventually part ways with. Some even disappear from our lives completely. Objects and moments can be the same.
