Shin Sosa-ryu Hitoyogiri: Ichikotsu Warmup - Scale and Ukagai. 新宗左流尺八・一節切 壱越調
Ichikotsu is the Doyo / interseasonal mode, where the ritsu scale begins on the ancient tone of D. You can use this video to warm up and get used to the mode. If you want to join me for Hitoyogiri Community Lessons, you can sign up here: https://www.hon-on.com/lessons.html We meet 4x per month; you can attend live, or just watch the videos from each session. There's time for questions and individual attention after each session, as well as space on the Discord community for discussion, etc. Everyone is welcome, regardless of skill level.
