Prueba Honda X-ADV y Forza 750 2025

The importance of the Honda X-ADV for the brand itself and the market is undeniable: since its arrival in 2017, more than 76,000 units have been sold, and it has set a trend with its unprecedented "trail scooter" style. Although... why "scooter"? It was the first thing I asked myself when I attended this first test, in Sicily, of the new Honda X-ADV and Forza 750. Let's see: they have a motorcycle engine, a motorcycle frame, motorcycle suspension, motorcycle wheels... They're motorcycles! They are automatic motorcycles, yes, thanks to the DCT dual-clutch system, and they "look" like scooters because Honda dresses them with full fairings (more cleanliness and protection for their occupants), gives them a space under the seat, and the rider has no foot controls: the rear brake is on the left lever, and the gearshift, if desired, can also be operated with the buttons on the left shifter. That, along with a rear wheel of a size common on other high-end scooters (15 inches), is the only scooter-like quality these two automatic motorcycles have, representing the best bridge between the two categories. In the 2025 versions we just tested, Honda hasn't changed anything fundamental, but it has improved many small details in both models, which are mechanically similar. However, with the Forza, something not so small has changed: its aesthetics have, in my opinion, taken a very welcome leap toward a sportier, more "CBR" style.
