Oh Sang-jo is a leading Korean documentary photographer. Beginning with "People of Namdo" in the 1970s and 1980s, he has documented traditional, indigenous, and Buddhist cultural heritage and monuments rooted in Namdo culture and life, including "People of Cheonghak-dong," "Unjusa Temple," "Dangsan Tree," and "Stone Shapes." He is a groundbreaking and influential photographer, worthy of the title "archaeological documentary photographer."
