The country was unified under Hideyoshi, but after his death, the world once again fell into war. Meanwhile, Tokugawa Ieyasu visits Mitsuhide's hermitage. Ieyasu is bound by his feelings for Hideyoshi and wonders whether he should kill Ishida Mitsunari of the Toyotomi clan. Recognizing his own past in Ieyasu's presence, Mitsuhide advises Ieyasu that all living beings must move forward toward their desired future, and heads off to Sekigahara with him. His presence reminds him of his late friend, who reached out to help the distressed Mitsuhide. (Note: The event movie "Umbrella" plays at the beginning.) ◆Battle Situation (Commentator: Tokugawa Ieyasu) At Sekigahara, we will settle the score with Ishida Mitsunari's Western Army. Fog is hanging over Sekigahara, making visibility difficult. We must light the large torches in various locations to better grasp the situation. Shima Sakon is about to use his cannon. After serving as a retainer of the Saito clan and as a ronin, he quickly rose to prominence as a retainer of the Oda clan. He sees Oda Nobunaga as the man who will bring an end to the turbulent times, but as he observes Oda Nobunaga's actions, he becomes troubled and suspicious by the gap between his ideals and his own. He is polite, honest, and serious, but also has a delicate nature, prone to overthinking, mentally fragile, and his deep emotions make him indecisive. Around the time of the Honnoji Incident, he is troubled by the magnitude of Nobunaga's presence and is forced to make a decision. As a military commander, he is intelligent, knowledgeable, and skilled in both the arts and martial arts, but he also has trouble dealing with his free-spirited and easily dissolute daughter, Gracia...
