The Suffering 4 | No Escape | Hard Enduro | VIDRA

Surprise surprise, another DNF. Not a single finisher in Silver (technically). This years Suffering IV course felt considerably more difficult than last years and I don't think it was just the conditions. I felt a lot more prepared with my tire setup, nutrition, hydration, fitness, ability, etc, but still got my ass whooped. Definitely rode way better than last year so I'm happy. I started cramping around the 2 hour mark, but kept pushing up until 4h 30 mins when I had nothing left. Ended up making my way to the bottom of Sorry Hill and cutting out. I left most of the transit sections out of the video since there was a lot. Lots of greasy logs and steep downhills to keep you on your toes. Honestly surprised the footage turned out with how wet and covered with mud I was. I thought for sure I was smearing crap all over the lens. Most fun race of the year!
