VRChat’s ID Verification Has a HUGE Problem…

VRChat introduced ID verification to help create safer adult spaces and keep children out of clearly 18+ environments. On paper, it sounds like a great idea. But after spending more time in VRChat bar worlds and hearing stories from multiple people, I think there are major flaws in the system that people are ignoring. In this video, I discuss: How minors are allegedly bypassing VRChat verification Why some adults trust the system WAY too much The dangers of assuming “verified = adult” How predators and irresponsible adults can exploit these systems Why this issue affects both adults and minors on the platform I also share stories, experiences, and concerns sent to me from members of the VRChat community regarding fake verification, adult spaces, and off-platform grooming concerns. This video is not meant to spread panic or accuse VRChat of malicious intent. I actually think the verification system was a necessary step forward. However, I do believe there are serious issues that need to be addressed before more people get hurt. I previously did record console gameplay solely with Elgato's game capture & used OBS for PC gaming & streaming, but now I'm using OBS for everything as the Elgato takes too long to render raw files & convert them. Kinda annoying you have to reset the settings each and every time you open a recording software, but the quality is great! "What do you use to record your audio?" I am currently using a Blue Yeti combined with Audacity.
