"The new board of directors," stated President Paolo Lucchi, "is the result of extensive consultation with the member cooperatives. I am confident that, thanks to the high-level expertise it represents, it will be able to respond even more effectively to the rapid evolution currently taking place in the services sector. A heartfelt thank you to the outgoing board members, especially Vice President Antonella Conti, who, with her professional and human skills, has made a fundamental contribution to the growth of Federcoop Romagna in recent years. With a turnover of nearly €6.5 million and 114 employees, including 88 women, Legacoop Romagna's service company ranks among the top players in the cooperative movement nationwide. The numbers are positive: Federcoop Romagna closed its financial statements with a significant profit of approximately €100,000, including a refund to member cooperatives and a full bonus for employees. In 2025, workers received approximately €280,000 in benefits, nearly €2,500 each, including tickets, welfare benefits, performance bonuses, and other incentives. Net worth is over €5.8 million and is constantly growing. The data was presented by Andrea Denicolò, Silvia Ghini, Laura Macrì, and Cristina Montaguti, heads of the Labor Consulting, Payroll, Consulting, and Administration departments, respectively. Ornella Rutigliano, coordinator of the operational department, presented the management report. The public session was dedicated to a reflection on Artificial Intelligence applied to businesses, with Professor Francesco Ubertini, former rector of the University of Bologna, as special guest. After an official welcome from Matteo Gozzoli, Mayor of Cesenatico, Simona Benedetti, head of the Legacoop Romagna research center, presented the study on the impact of artificial intelligence on Romagna cooperatives. Over a third of member cooperatives have already incorporated AI into their business processes, with investments already made or planned: all large-scale retail cooperatives (100%), 33% of agri-food cooperatives, 37% of Labor, Production, and Service cooperatives, 30% of cultural cooperatives, and one in four social cooperatives (25%).
