Each session will center on the various, "Levels of Development (LOD)", each will feature a panel of industry professionals discussing various aspects of LOD. The sessions will shed light on topics ranging for the BIM kickoff meeting, to contractual methods, to coordination and collaboration procedures, working with aligned professionals and the post-design processes. Host and moderator will be Brian Juge, AIA. Session 2 - Working well together: Best Collaboration Practices for the Design Team In session 1 we covered many of the contractual issues that arise in a BIM project. In this session our panel will dive into setting up the model responsibilities and workflow for the project team. Our panel of industry experts from the architecture, engineering and construction arenas will discuss their experiences and best practices for establishing the project. The panel will discuss the Who? Why? and What? of the BIM Kickoff meeting. We'll discuss how AIA E202, Consensus Docs and Levels of Development figure into this part of the project process. Our panel will review the LOD process that the BIM project will go through in creating a construction model. Finally, we will review what steps are needed in undertaking a "Large BIM" project and roadmap that will take you there.
