Explaining DIR/Floortime
Developmental autism therapies have much in common. They aim to help children grow in communication and thinking skills through social interaction. These therapies all work by teaching parents to use everyday interactions as learning opportunities, but there are subtle differences. For this video we interviewed clinicians and parents to find out what DIR/Floortime looks like as a learning process for children with autism and their parents. Thanks to Community Living Manitoba for funding this project.
