NFL Blitz 2003 XBOX Review
Is NFL Blitz 2003 actually the best way to play the series today, or are we all just blinded by arcade nostalgia? In this video, I’m taking a look at what is arguably the last "true" Blitz game—the one that still had the late hits and the hard-hitting attitude before things got toned down. I’m breaking down how those 2002 graphics hold up on the Xbox, the legendary commentary of Tim Kitzrow, and why this series is basically the NBA Jam of football. But it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. I’m also getting into why the game sometimes feels like it’s straight-up cheating you with those bobbled interceptions, and why, as a simulation fan who grew up on Madden and Fever, I still struggle to play this for more than 15 minutes at a time. Are you an arcade football fan, or do you stick to the simulation side like I usually do? Let me know your Blitz memories in the comments! If you're new here, consider subscribing for more retro reviews and deep dives into the games we grew up with. If you enjoyed the video, hit that like button—it really helps out the channel! Be good, take care, and I’ll see you in the next one. #NFLBlitz #RetroGaming #Xbox #Midway #ArcadeGaming #NFLBlitz2003 #GamingReview
