Hiking 100km of jungle to El Mirador pyramid
El Mirador, Guatemala One of our favourite experiences in all of our travels so far, hiking 100kms over 5 days to the lost mayan kingdom of El Mirador. We got a shuttle from Flores to Carmelita, where the amazing people from the Carmelita Cooperativa guided us on our expedition through the jungle. We stopped off at campsites along the way and made it to the glorious site of La Danta, the largest mayan pyramid in the whole world!
