RALEIGH IS BIG Raleigh is the second fastest growing city in America. TRAFFIC And, of course, because Raleigh is growing so fast, it does come with some traffic issues, so be prepared for that. TORNADOES This is a question we get a lot, but yes – we do have the occasional tornado warning. That being said, it’s been a LONG time since we’ve actually had a bad tornado here – most of the time it’s just a warning or an alert that one could happen.
