Pokémon Leaf Green: Elite Four

Everyone had a moment to shine except Sunflora, that doesn’t mean Sunflora is bad, Sunflora is far from bad. Sunflora is very good in a playthrough, especially if you give it hidden power fire. Its ability chlorophyll combined with the moves solarbeam and hidden power fire are pretty strong. I was happy that I was able to use Forretress on a successful way against Lance’s Aerodactyl. Forrestress only has status moves and it’s awesome and funny how good he is, a verry good support to the team. Normally my playstyle and the way I build my teams is more power oriented, it’s fun to use a support pokémon for the change. Chimecho did a lot which is normal, it’s a psychic type which are super good in the Kanto games. Dewgong is not bad either. It’s a bulky boy who works perfectly with the leftovers item. I also gave leftovers to Chimecho I think but I think Forretress would have been a better pick for it. Stantler is the most versatile one of the team I think. I know his stats show that it has a little bit more attack than special attack but I think it’s negligible. Mine Stantler has a modest nature and it learns calm mind by level up and it can learn the powerful and useful moves thunderbolt and psychic. Thunderwave is a nice add-on for sticky situations. Relicanth was fun to play with although I didn’t used it a lot in general. It’s my first time using a Relicanth and it’s not bad but its move pool is missing something, I had to learn it secret power early on to have a reliable accurate move. I kept secret power until it learned double-edge at lv57. It learns take down by level up but the bad accuracy makes it not worth it. In general it was a pretty smooth playthrough and the E4 went also pretty well. I’m not sure if I will do a rematch after the post-game or do the post-game at all. I have been playing and posting pokémon games a lot the last weeks, so I think I will take a break from it. I’m not sure yet, we will see.
