Introducing Baby Chicks To Broody Hens

This year for the first time, we wound up with 2 broody hens. So since we were already planning on expanding our flock with 9 chicks, we decided to try letting these hens raise them for us! It has been a very beautiful process so far and we're very grateful our hens are both good mothers to the babies. Worst case scenario is the hen could reject the chicks or even try to kill them; so we were nervous going into this process.
