The Objectives of Surah Al-Nisa | Khutbah by Imam Mohamed Sayed

This week’s khutbah explored the central themes of Surat An-Nisa, a surah that emphasizes justice, responsibility, and safeguarding the rights of others. Through its guidance on family, inheritance, marriage, orphans, and more, the surah establishes the importance of 'adl in a believer’s life. The khutbah reminded us that Islam is not only about fulfilling our obligations to Allah, but also about fulfilling our obligations to His creation. Every right we neglect, every injustice we commit, and every trust we betray is something we will be held accountable for on the Day of Judgment. Surah An-Nisaa calls believers to uphold fairness in every aspect of life, honoring the rights of women, protecting the vulnerable, and dealing justly with all people. By living with integrity and justice in this world, we hope to meet Allah free from the burdens of wronging others.
