This deck combines some of the weirdest Tribal creatures in Magic: Pests, Bats, Insects, Snakes, and Spiders and turns them into a surprisingly powerful lifegain-based tribal aggro strategy. Every time we gain life, Blech puts +1/+1 counters across our entire board. And the best part? Blech doesn’t care about how MUCH life we gain, only HOW MANY TIMES we gain life. That means a bunch of small lifegain triggers can very quickly turn our army of dirty little animals into massive threats. The deck focuses heavily on generating creature tokens, creating multiple lifegain triggers, and snowballing the board until opponents simply can’t keep up anymore. While this isn’t the most complicated or explosive deck I’ve ever built for the channel… it’s easily one of the most satisfying and unexpectedly strong budget decks I’ve played in a long time. This entire list is built on a 100€ budget, with a full upgrade section included in the Moxfield primer if you want to push Blech even further.
