In this episode, we pull up the anchor in Cooktown and embark on an epic, non-stop 48-hour passage to the Thursday Islands—our absolute last stop before we officially clear out for Indonesia. Sailing inside the Great Barrier Reef sounds beautiful, but it was a total gauntlet. We faced howling winds, navigated treacherous rock formations, and played chicken with massive shipping traffic in dead-of-night channels.
