Empowering Researchers | Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS)

The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) is a funding agency that supports researchers’ ambitions and encourages the pursuit of research in all fields. Even research that ultimately leads to a Nobel Prize often begins with a small spark of inspiration. We have long been committed to cultivating the soil in which such seeds of inspiration can take root. Nearly a century has passed since JSPS was established. Going forward, we will continue to stand alongside each researcher and advance science, while working to pave the way to a better society.
